Dethatching

Dethatching is one service provided to ensure your lawn has ease of access to water, oxygen, and nutrients. Thatch, a tightly intermingled layer of living and dead stems, leaves, and roots, is beneficial to your lawn in moderation. When your lawn's layer of thatch exceeds .75" it may be time to consider dethatching. Too much thatch provides the optimal breeding environment for unwanted insects and lawn diseases.
