What Does Routine Weeding Service Look Like With JD Landscape Solutions?
Managing weeds in your garden beds can be an extremely frustrating and laborious task that not everyone has the time, nor interest in performing. Depending on how maintained your garden beds are, we take two approaches to weed control. To find out more about how we handle weed control please reference to dropdown menu below!

For properties with excessive mature weeds, we always suggest starting with routine weeding visits where our teams HAND PICK the weeds in your beds before applying a pre-emergent. Our team members are trained on what plants NOT to pull while also making their best effort to fully remove unwanted weeds. It may take repeated visits to get your beds under control.

If your garden beds are under control, we usually recommend the more cost efficient method of getting recurring herbicide and pre-emergent treatments. This involves our team members spot spraying weeds in your garden beds, walkways, and driveway. After weed killer is applied, we apply a pre-emergent to help prevent future weeds from germinating.

We use several different products based on client’s preferences. Our pre-emergent comes in a granular form. We will usually be using either Snapshot or Preen during our pre-emergent applications. In regards to post-emergent (or weed killer) we typically use Round Up or a diluted vinegar solution. We can always substitute synthetic weed killer for our vinegar solution at our client’s request!
